Before you book

  • The 2027 dates are not announced. The 5th edition ran 26-27 Mar 2026 at the Sports Stadium, Padum; the 2025 edition was on 20 Mar at Atting village.
  • At the 2026 opening, the local councillor asked for the festival dates to be fixed well in advance.
  • Travel to Zanskar in late winter is hard: officials describe the harsh cold and difficult road. Check conditions and dates with the Ladakh administration before you plan.
  • Costs are not listed on Nomad. Check them, and the latest dates, on the official site.
